การศึกษาทางเลือกในกรุงเทพฯ
HEYA began with a phone call during COVID
Oded Daniel challenged Bovy Wongwattanakit with a radical idea
Education did not need another new school. It needed a new system.
For the first time, parents could see clearly how their children were learning at home.
The cracks in traditional education became impossible to ignore, but there was still no real alternative.
That became the question behind HEYA.
How do you build one school where every child can be different and still belong?
Over the next decade, Bovy researched, tested, failed, rebuilt, and refined the model.
Along the way, friends, educators, parents and early supporters including Benjamin, Ravit Daniel, Christopher Nyren, Alec Goldman, Dr.Dan Gang contributed their time and expertise, often on a volunteer basis.
The goal was simple, to create a place where gifted children, unconventional learners, and children who never quite felt they belonged in school could be themselves, feel understood, and grow without being limited by a one-size-fits-all system.
After years of trial and error and rejection from more than 100 investors HEYA developed a working model.
Today, we serve families from 18 nationalities at our Bangkok center. More than 60 specialists from around the world have contributed to our students’ learning, from researchers and PhDs to entrepreneurs and NASA engineers.
But HEYA is not finished. Every term, we improve the model, launch new features, and deepen personalization.
Our mission is to reach one million children.
To build an education system where children never have to choose between belonging and being themselves.
What began as a question has become a working model
and our next chapter is about bringing it to more children around the world.
Our journey

The Story Behind the HEYA Logo
The HEYA logo features a school of 23 infinity-shaped fish swimming together in different directions. Every part of it has meaning.23 represents being guided to pursue your passion with a positive and enthusiastic spirit.
The infinity shape represents limitless possibility, the freedom for every student to explore their interests, abilities, and potential at HEYA. And the school of fish represents belonging.
At HEYA, children are free to follow their own direction, but they never have to do it alone. They grow alongside friends who understand them.
Bovy Wong hand-drew the original logo during HEYA's early conception. Its simple, almost childlike form was inspired by her earliest childhood memory of drawing representing innocence, imagination, and the natural creativity of children.
The first version contained 20 fish. Graphic designer Mike Darnelle later refined and rearranged the design, adding three more fish to create the 23-fish logo HEYA uses today.

The Meaning Behind HEYA’s Colors
HEYA’s blue, turquoise, and purple palette is inspired by the fluorescent colors of coral under extreme stress. Before some corals die, they can produce striking fluorescent colors a final visual signal that something is wrong.
For HEYA, these colors represent the children who have been quietly signaling that the education system is not working for them. Their boredom. Their anxiety. Their refusal to fit in. Their endless questions. Their intensity. Their feeling of being different.
We see these not simply as problems to fix, but as signals asking adults to build something better.
The colors remind us why HEYA exists: to listen to those signals and to create an education system where children can thrive before they are forced to break themselves to fit into one.

การศึกษาทางเลือกในกรุงเทพฯ
"We believe every child is born with a gift and a purpose."
Education should help them discover what that gift is, cultivate it, and gradually understand who they are, what they care about, and what direction they want their life to take. That direction may change. Their interests may evolve. But learning becomes far more meaningful when children are not simply collecting knowledge, they understand why they are learning and what they may one day do with it.
At HEYA, our role is to cultivate, nurture, and challenge each child, helping them develop their strengths, grow in confidence, and become the best version of themselves, not only for personal success, but to contribute something meaningful to the world.

When children feel competent, connected to a goal, and able to see progress, perseverance becomes more natural.
They develop grit, discipline, and resilience because there is something worth working toward.
WE BELIEVE THAT PASSION + DISCIPLINE + OPPORTUNITY AND MENTORSHIP = SUCCESS
Passion gives children a reason to begin.
Discipline gives them the strength to continue.
Opportunity and mentorship give them the space to turn potential into reality.
And education should provide all three.
