Meet the mentors

A global network of world-class mentors
from leading universities to top industries, guiding students beyond textbook learning.

OUR STANDARDS

How We Select Our Mentors

Every mentor at HEYA starts with a strong resume, but a brilliant resume has never been enough for us. We search the world for people who've truly mastered their craft: scientists who still get excited about a new discovery, entrepreneurs who've built something from nothing, professionals who've spent decades in their field and still light up when they talk about it.

Then we ask the harder question: can this person sit across from a curious child and help them fall in love with learning? Only the mentors who pass both tests, real accomplishment and real ability to inspire, ever join our network.

Real Expertise

Advanced degrees, published research, or hands-on leadership in their field: PhDs, postdoctoral researchers, founders, and working professionals.

Proven Teaching Ability

Expertise alone isn't enough. We look for mentors who can explain complex ideas clearly and adapt to how each student actually learns.

Genuine Passion for Mentorship

Mentors who want to guide a young mind, not just cover a syllabus, and who stay curious and engaged themselves.

A Careful Vetting Process

Every mentor is interviewed and reviewed against HEYA's academic and character standards before being matched to a single student.

A FEW OF OUR MENTORS

Beyond Textbook Learning

We work with more than 60 mentors around the world, and we could fill pages with their stories. Here are a few of the researchers, founders, and professionals your child could learn from: chosen not just for what they've achieved, but for their ability to pass it on.
